How far along? 16 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +6.5 lbs.
Maternity clothes? I’m still wearing my regular clothes but all of my bottoms are getting really tight (squeezing into pants and shorts that are form-fitting are now just giving me a serious muffin top as you can probably see in this photo)! I ordered the BellaBand last week so I’m excited to start using it so I can still wear my favorite jeans; however I plan to make some online “maternity” purchases sometime this week.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping ok. I’ve been able to sleep through the night with typically one trip to the bathroom, but once I get up, I can’t fall back into the deep sleep I was in or I either can’t fall back to sleep for an hour or two
Miss Anything? Ahi tuna, sushi and the occasional glass of wine
Movement: Nope
Food cravings: fresh anything: soups, salads and fruit in particular
Anything making you queasy or sick? I keep knocking on wood…I have had zero morning sickness or any sickness for that matter!
Symptoms? Feeling great overall! The dull headaches have started a pattern where they are completely manageable by day, then start to get more intense toward the end of the day. Some days they’re fine, other days they can be pretty awful. I’m trying to avoid taking Tylenol as much as possible, so I just try to call it an early night if the headaches are too bad. I’ve also tried scaling back my use of my iPad, iPhone, computer, etc. and so far it has seemed to help J

Have you started to show yet? A teeny bump made its debut last
week and it’s here to stay!
Gender prediction: Tim strongly predicts a boy and I’m beginning to think the same…I had a really weird dream the other night that the baby came early, was 10 lbs. (the scariest part!) and was a boy.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Exercise? Yes! Alternating between yoga and walking for the most part with some light strength training. Due to the recent lower back pain, I’ve been doing more walking and strength training to avoid really hurting myself.
Looking forward to: Watching the bump grow & feeling the baby move!
