Diaper Size: two

Clothing Size: 6 month, some 9 month too!

Cries when: tired or hungry

Eating Schedule: every 2.5-3.5 hours during the day. Camden goes down for the night between 8:00-8:30 and I wake him for a dream feeding around 10:30pm. He sleeps until 6:45-7:15am.

Milestones:
-grasps toys and holds them for a short period
-great head control, likes to be on his elbows during tummy time
-still LOVES eating his fists
-lifts his butt up
-loves to splash in the bathtub
-he's super vocal and found his "scream" this month
-officially moved into his room full-time and sleeps in his crib for all naps and bedtime 
-he's SO close to rolling over. He tries so hard to roll from back to front, but his left arm always gets in the way!

3 Months

March 2017

Weight: @ 13 lbs.

Height: @23.5 inches (these measurements are approximate since we don't have another check up until 4 months)

Diaper Size: using up the rest of the ones and ready for size two

Clothing Size: just getting into 6 months

Cries when: tired, hungry or has gas :(

Eating Schedule: every 2.5-3.5 hours during the day. Camden goes down for the night between 8:30-9:00 and I wake him for a dream feeding around 10:45pm. The last couple of weeks he has slept through the night a handful of times, and we're currently on a two night streak where he'll wake up around 7am. I'm hoping he will keep it up!

Milestones: This little boy has been quite busy! 
-first bath with big brother
-lifts his heads better and better during tummy time
-has discovered that he LOVES eating his fists
-scoots backward
-loves to "talk" and smile
-attended his first birthday party with Calvin
-went to the zoo and state fair
-started back at Stroller Strides

2 Months

February 2017

Diaper Size: one

Clothing Size: 3 months

Cries when: tired, hungry or has gas :(

Eating Schedule: every 2.5-3 hours during the day, and I think we're officially down to one middle of the night feeding, usually around 2:00-3:00am.

Milestones: Camden smiles and coos and it's the cutest thing! He's incredibly alert and likes to stare at ceiling fans, big pictures and balloons! He has already taken his first ride on a golf cart and attended his first birthday party.

1 month

January 2017

Weight: 8 lbs. 4 oz.

Height: 22 in.

Diaper size: newborn

Clothing size: newborn

Eating schedule: every 2.5-3 hours during the day, between 3-4 hours at night

Cries when: hungry or tired

Milestones: first bath, holds our fingers, very alert, good head control

Camden has joined our family seamlessly! He is such a sweet baby and pretty easy going so far, considering he's always being lugged around to his big brother's activities and school! 

Calvin loves being a big brother. He's so proud to tell everyone he has a baby brother. It really is the sweetest thing. He loves to help get clean diapers when Camden needs to be changed, and pick out the bath toys when Camden needs a bath :)

We're so excited to watch Camden grow and watch the boys as they share that brotherly bond. There will undoubtedly be lots of boo boos, fights, wrestling and tears along the way, but we know these two boys will be the best of friends!

6 lbs. 3 oz., 19.5 inches

Tim and I headed to the hospital around 5am, as we were the first scheduled c-section of the day.

We were taken back where I was prepped for surgery. Shortly thereafter, we met our little man!

38 weeks

How far along? 38 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: +21 lbs. total
Maternity clothes? Mostly maternity bottoms and a mix of regular and maternity tops

Stretch marks? No
Sleep: As good as it can get at this point. I'm still getting up at least once to pee, and turning from side to side is still challenging because of the belly weight--it feels like a bowling ball.
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my back, and just generally being comfortable.
Movement: TONS! He's still a super active little guy!
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing this week.
Symptoms? Just tired, mainly.
Have you started to show yet? Yes!

Labor Signs: No, although I've been feeling more constant and consistent pressure.

Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Exercise? Stroller Strides three times this week.

37 weeks...FULL TERM!

How far along? 37 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: +21 lbs. total
Maternity clothes? Mostly maternity bottoms and a mix of regular and maternity tops

Sleep: I think it's as good as it can get at this point. I'm still getting up at least once to pee, and turning from side to side is still challenging because of the belly weight.
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my back, and just generally being comfortable.
Movement: TONS! Although I think he's really cramped now.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing this week.
Symptoms? Still feeling heavy. Not so much back pain this week, but nasal congestion has gotten a little worse, so I feel like I'm breathing heavily all the time! I've slowed down considerably and I've been feeling exhausted.
Have you started to show yet? Yes!

We've still got things to do before his arrival (like buy a new car that will actually fit us all in it, pack my hospital bag, etc.) but everything else is ready! My next doctor appointment is tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to checking up on him too :)
